Job Description

We currently have an opportunity at our Boston location for an experienced Software Implementation Project Manager. In this position, you will be the primary interface between dti and our customers in all matters related to their complex deployment projects.

Essential Duties

• Direct business analysts, software engineers, and other technical and non-technical staff in the installation, integration, modification, and enhancement of large-scale and complex enterprise client/server and/or web software applications.
• Ensure on-time achievement of project milestones and deliverables, delivering your projects according to schedule, within budget, and profitably.
• Ensure accurate reporting of time and materials expended on projects.
• Develop and manage project schedules and man-loading plans.
• Participate in contract development, as required.
• Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
• 20-40% travel necessary.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least seven years of demonstrated successful project management experience for a software vendor.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Strong appreciation of business issues and a comprehensive understanding of software and information technology.
• Prior experience at an insurance company or in insurance-related applications is highly desirable, along with customer-facing software vendor experience.
• Must have excellent customer relationship management skills
• Superior oral and written communiations skills, presentation skills, and excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, at all levels of the organization, are required.
