The OASIS DW business intelligence software consists of two major database schemas: the Staging area and the Storage area. The Staging area scrubs the incoming data before the data moves to the Storage area for permanent use. This Storage area forms the basis of the true data warehouse. The OASIS DW offers access to as much of the OASIS data as dictated by each customer's reporting requirements. In addition, dti's open OASIS DW architecture supports the integration of other application data, such as employee data, medical data, or even pre-existing legacy data.
