Sam founded Delphi Technology, Inc. in 1989 and has led the firm’s growth to national recognition as an innovative information technology solutions firm specializing in insurance and risk management solutions. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton in Mathematics and a Master of Science from Stanford in Operations Research, Sam worked for IBM on database management systems and other mainframe software products. He obtained an MBA from Wharton while managing a successful business systems consulting practice. On leaving IBM, Sam worked for Oracle Corporation, rising rapidly to the position of regional manager while building application systems for the insurance and healthcare sectors.
Senior Vice President of Business Development
Mark rejoined Delphi in 2017 and is responsible for spearheading the company’s Business Development group with the goal of expanding the company’s market share in the medical and hospital professional liability markets, as well as introducing Delphi’s newest solutions, Delphi Accelerator and Delphi Policy, to P&C carriers. Mark and his team will focus on new business development initiatives, including sales and marketing. Mark’s extensive insurance industry experience spans 27 years, starting with Liberty Mutual followed by gaining his brokerage experience with Willis and Aon. For the past two decades, he has focused his career in insurance technology, including the last four years with Guidewire Software, working with insurers of all sizes and specialties to define and execute core system strategies. Mark is a graduate of Boston University.
Senior Vice President of Finance, Planning, and Administration
Alvin joined Delphi Technology in 2013 and is responsible for all finance, planning and administrative operations. Alvin has more than 25 years experience in several industries including IT, biotech/pharma, and financial services. Prior to joining Delphi Technology, he was Controller at Kidde-Fenwal, a global fire suppression company owned by United Technology Corporation. Prior to this, he served as Director of Finance and IT Controller at Biogen Idec, Inc. a Fortune 500 company developing treatments in the areas of immunology and neurology. He is a CPA and holds an M.B.A. and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Rutgers.
Senior Vice President of Implementation Services
Kevin joined Delphi Technology in 2012 and is responsible for developing and leading the national accounts organization, as well as the business consulting organization. Kevin brings more than 18 years of management experience and a proven track record in developing and successfully executing multi-faceted tactical and strategic solutions in the insurance and risk management industries. Prior to joining Delphi Technology, Kevin served in senior management positions at Insurance Resolution Group Consulting Services, Zurich North America Insurance Company, and Kemper Insurance Companies. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business Management from Kent State University.
Executive Vice President of Development
Chris rejoined Delphi Technology in 2016 and is responsible for leading the product development team where his breadth of experience in software development, services, and the role of an OASIS customer provides unique insight into the entire software development process. Chris first joined Delphi in 1995 where he was the principal architect of the claims, central information, and risk management systems. He was promoted to Vice President of Development in 2001 where he remained until 2007. In 2009, he returned to first lead the QA group and was promoted to Vice President of Services. Chris left Delphi in 2011 to do consulting work including support for Delphi’s OASIS customers. Prior to joining Delphi Technology, Chris worked at Oracle in the consulting practice acquiring extensive relational database experience within the insurance industry. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Lehigh University.
Vice President of Product Development
James joined Delphi Technology in 2014 and is responsible for leading the execution of Delphi’s product development strategy. Prior to joining Delphi Technology, James served in senior product development positions at OneShield, Hotoffthewire.com, Fidelity Investments, and Digital Equipment Corporation. He received his Bachelor Degree in Astronomy from Beijing Normal University and his Ph.D. in Physics from Boston College.
Vice President of P&C Sales
Rex rejoined Delphi Technology in 2016 and is responsible for developing and leading the P&C sales process for Delphi’s newly-created Property & Casualty product division, with an initial focus on new business development initiatives, in order to support Delphi’s continued expansion into new segments of the insurance market. Rex brings deep expertise in executing successful business development and sales strategies. Prior to rejoining Delphi Technology, Rex served in executive sales / operations leadership positions at eBao Tech, CSC, ISO, and AQS. He attended Purdue University and IUPUI in Indianapolis.
Vice President of Marketing
Bonnie rejoined Delphi Technology in 2012 and is responsible for marketing strategy and execution, including corporate and product marketing, industry solutions marketing, customer, field and partner marketing, communications, communities, industry analyst and press relations, and web presence. Prior to rejoining Delphi, Bonnie founded Gypsy Wolf Marketing, a boutique marketing consultancy offering the latest in marketing techniques and strategies to art galleries around the world. Bonnie also held senior marketing positions with a wide range of software technology companies including FINEOS and Pegasystems.
